Cheddar emerged from a collaborative final project within a bootcamp team of four. Our aim was to conceptualize, design, implement, and deploy a robust web application within a two-week sprint. Hosted on Heroku, Cheddar represents my commitment to agile development and innovative problem-solving.
I spearheaded the development of Cheddar's core feature - an advanced form-filling tool. This tool leverages the capabilities of Selenium and Capybara, automating the job application process for users. It intelligently fills out forms using information provided by the user, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Beyond the back-end, I also enhanced the front-end experience. This included integrating external APIs to dynamically fetch and display logos of companies and universities, adding a layer of visual engagement and real-time data interaction to the user interface.
Continuing our journey post-bootcamp, we are focusing on enhancing Cheddar's robustness and user-friendliness. Our vision is to introduce Cheddar into the job board market, offering a unique and efficient solution for job seekers.
